CARR482 - Yamaha XV Voltage regulator rectifier
Unit is slightly bigger than the original, but that's probably because of the improved design.
Nevertheless it fits perfectly behind the foot peg like the original.
No further connector assembly needed, just a simple replacement of the original.
Before I bought this one I bought a generic (cheap) one off Ebay (Shangzou China), which was a mistake because most of the times it just drained the battery.
Sure it was cheap but no good at all. The R/R from Carmo hasn't let me down so far and charges the battery always around a strong 14,0V ~ 14,7V when the engine is warm and running at a steady pace.
